NIE Staff Registration / Membership
Full-time academic and non-academic staff are required to register at the Membership and Loan Services Counter with their staff card. Part-time teaching staff must register with their letter of appointment (with an end date of appointment) and a photograph (IC size). Membership is non-transferable. Registration Hours: 8.30am-4.30pm (Monday - Friday) Library Membership Number & PIN
For full-time staff, the membership number is your NRIC or FIN number.
For part-time teaching staff, the membership number is the barcode number on your library card.
The PIN assigned to all members is the last 4 alphanumeric characters of their NRIC or FIN. You are strongly advised to change the assigned PIN using the WebOPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
NIE Students & Student Teachers Registration / Membership
Full-time students are automatically members of the Library. Registration at the Library is not required. Students attending NIE special programmes and who do not have an matriculation card will have to register personally at Loan Counter, Level 2 with an IC-sized photography, before they can borrow library material. Members are required to key in their library membership number and/or PIN when accessing some of the services available on the WebOPAC. These services include viewing of borrower information / requests / outstanding balance, cancellation of requests and loan renewals.

NTU Staff & Students Please note that certain library resources and facilities may only be accessed by NIE Staff and Students. Registration / Membership
